Young Man Killed When Hit by Car
Gap, Pa. — Funeral services were held in the Strasburg community June 14 for Melvin Fisher, 26, son of Aaron K. and Ruth (Smoker) Fisher who was fatally injured in a highway accident early Saturday, June 11.
The young man reportedly was walking along Hartman Bridge Road when he was hit by a motorist, who failed to stop. A 35-year-old man was later arrested in connection with the tragedy.
