— Funeral services for 28-year-old Peter Fast of Niverville, Man., held at the Mennonite Brethren church there last month, were combined with memorial services for his father, Jacob Fast, who had died in East Germany according to word received by the family. The son died of leukemia after being ill only a week. The family formerly lived in Russia, and the mother and four children came to Canada five years ago.
