Heart Attack Fatal To Mt. Lake Former
Mt. Lake, Minn. — A heart attack suffered while working on a tractor in the farm yard claimed the life of John T. Fast, 45, well-known farmer here. He had been under treatment for a heart condition since 1967.
Mr. Fast was active in the Bethel Mennonite Church and in community affairs, having served on the board of the Mt. Lake Christian Day School, clerk of the Mt. Lake public school board, and a director of the Farmers Co-op Elevator Assn.
Funeral services were held Oct. 25 at the Bethel Church.
Survivors include his widow, Margaret; seven children of whom Elaine and John are students at Bethel College in Kansas; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John B. Fast; and two sisters.
