Shipshewana, Ind. — Mrs. Catherine Weaver Farver, 89, a resident of Shipshewana since 1889, passed away at her home here Nov. 20, sixteen weeks after suffering a fractured hip. She and her late husband, Jonathan Farver, were active in the development of this community.

Funeral services were held at the Shore Mennonite church on Nov. 23, Rev. Howard K. Fox and Rev. Lee Miller officiating, and burial was in the Shore cemetery.

Mrs. Farver is survived by four daughters, four grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
