HELENA FALK
Helena Falk of Niverville, Man. passed away June 21. She was born to Abraham and Maria (Friesen) Unruh on October 15,1913 in Neu Samara, Russia. At age 12 her family emigrated to Canada. In her early teens she accepted the Lord and was baptized and received into the Mennonite Brethren Church. On October 9, 1932 she married David D. Falk of Niverville. They lived on a farm near Landmark (Man.) for about 44 years, retiring to Niverville for the last three years. She was predeceased by one son, Ben. She leaves husband David; four daughters: Elfrieda and Ruth, Betty Ann (Mrs. Edwin) Heinrichs, all of Niverville, and Irene (Mrs. Peter) Dyck of Winkler, Man.; two sons and wives: Walter and Mary, and Don and Brenda, all of Landmark; and 10 grandchildren. The funeral was held June 24 at the Niverville MB Church with Henry Unruh of Vauxhall, and Peter Rempel of Warburg, both of Alberta, officiating.
