SARAH FADENRECHT
Sarah Fadenrecht was born to Isaac and Sarah Braun of Henderson, Neb. on Aug. 23, 1893. She passed away in her home at Joes, Colo. on Jan. 4, 1966. She had reached the age of 72 years, four months, a and 12 days.
Her early life was spent at Henderson. Here she accepted Christ as her Saviour at the age of 20. She was baptized on June 28, 1913.
She was united in marriage to John E. Fadenrecht of Joes, Colo. on Feb. 22, 1917 at Henderson, Neb. After spending a few years at Joes and Henderson, Bro. and Sister Fadenrecht moved to Joes in 1923 where they both lived until the Lord called them home.
Sister Fadenrecht was involved in a serious car accident in June 1946 from which she never completely recovered. She suffered a stroke on Oct. 17, 1956 which brought additional suffering and hardship. In her later years she was confined to the home where her family faithfully cared for her.
A special source of strength through the years of suffering was the song, "What a Friend We Have in Jesus."
She leaves to mourn her children, Edward and Margaret Fadenrecht, Jake and Martha Warkentine; six grandchildren and one great-grandson; one brother Jacob Braun of Henderson, Neb.; three sisters, Marie Fadenrecht, Joes, Colo., Elizabeth Regier, Henderson, Neb., and Agnes Klassen, Greeley, Colo. Her husband, one son and one granddaughter preceded her in death. Her departure is also mourned by nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
