• Alfred Ewy, 69, retired farmer and stockman of Hanston, died Oct. 17 at the Hodgeman County Hospital, Jetmore, after 12 years of health. The funeral was held Friday afternoon at the Hanston Mennonite Church, with Rev. Garman Wedel officiating. Survivors include his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Aloha Steinbrink of Hanston, two grandchildren, one brother and one sister.
