The body of Stephen J. Esh, 48, Paradise, a well known Amish contractor, was recovered Jan. 15 from the Conewago Creek in Adams County. He and a co-worker apparently drowned when their small boat capsized. The two men had been attempting to remove a collapsed covered bridge.
