MRS. ELIZABETH ESAU

Elizabeth Esau of Kemnay, Man. was called home to be with her Lord on October 7. She was born on December 23, 1911 at Olgafeld, Ukraine, Russia to Cornelius and Sara (nee Loewen) Neufeld. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour and Lord at an early age. Later she was baptized and joined the Mennonite Brethren Church. She arrived in Canada on September 23, 1926, and married John Esau January 24, 1948. From that time she lived with her husband at Kemnay, Manitoba. The couple had two children.

Left to mourn her passing are her beloved husband John, her children and spouses, daughter Barbara and her husband Dave, and son Richard and his wife Joan, and granddaughter Erin Leigh. She is survived by her mother Sara Esau of Clearbrook, B.C., two brothers and two sisters living in B.C., and many other friends and relatives.
