Columbus, Ohio. — Funeral services for Dr. Peter Epp, 65, retired language professor at Ohio State university, were held at the P. E. Rutherford funeral home here Jan. 12. He died at University hospital Jan. 9 after a long illness.

Dr. Epp was born in Russia, educated at European universities, and taught at Barenkovo and Halfstadt, Russia, before coming to this country in 1924. He taught at Bluffton College for ten years, coming to Ohio State in 1934. He is the author of several books dealing with the experiences of the Mennonites in Russia.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Justina Epp, and three sons.

FORMER PROFESSOR AT BLUFFTON COLLEGE CALLED BY DEATH

Columbus, Ohio. — Funeral services for Dr. Peter Epp, 65, retired language professor at Ohio State university, were held at the P. E. Rutherford funeral home here Jan. 12. He died at University hospital Jan. 9 after a long illness.

Dr. Epp was born in Russia, educated at European universities, and taught at Barenkovo and Halfstadt, Russia, before coming to this country in 1924. He taught at Bluffton College for ten years, coming to Ohio State in 1934. He is the author of several books dealing with the experiences of the Mennonites in Russia.
