Retired Pastor Died at Henderson

Henderson, Neb. — Rev. P. P. Epp, 89, venerable patriarch of this community, a pastor of the E.M.B. church for many years and a resident here since 1875, died on Friday morning, March 23.

Bro. Epp came to Henderson with his parents at the age of 13. He and Mrs. Epp, nee Wall, were nearing their 66th wedding anniversary. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, with brief services at the home followed by services in the E.M.B. church. Rev. Thomas, the pastor, officiated, assisted by Rev. J. R. Barkman. Interment was made in the Ebenezer cemetery south of town.

He leaves his wife, three daughters and four sons.
