Mt. Lake Farmer Dies While Visiting Son
Mountain Lake, Minn. — Gerhard Epp, retired farmer of this vicinity, died July 14 while visiting his youngest son at Jamestown, N. D. He was 69.
A life-long farmer, He lived at various residences near Moutain Lake and Delft, although he also farmed for short periods in Montana and California. He retired in 1943 and moved to Windom.
Although enjoying good health in his last years, he had suffered a heart attack in 1953.
Surviving are his wife, Sarah; three sons and two daughters, Earl P. of Minneapolis; Roy A. of Butterfield; Elsie (Mrs. Albert DeVries) of San Leandro, Calif.; Verna (Mrs. Theodore Bottoms) of Shaska [Shasta, CA?], and Jerome G. of Jamestown, N. D.; two brothers and one sister, Peter of Shafter, Calif., Cornelius of Ellenburg [sic Ellesnburg], Wash., and Mrs. Marie Voth of Hillsboro, Kan.
