text of obituary:

KENNETH MERLE ENTZ

Kenneth Merle Entz, son of Bernhard and Frieda Wiebe Entz, was born on Feb. 6, 1943. He attended the Claypool District School. When he was seven years old his sister Mary Louise passed away. There were many lonesome days following this since their relationship had been very close.

Upon his confession of faith in the Lord Jesus as his personal Saviour he was baptized on May 17, 1959 by Rev. L. R. Amstutz and received into the Emmaus Mennonite Church of which he was an active member until his death. He taught Sunday school, sang in the choirs and at the time of his death was assistant church song leader and president of the Men's Chorus.

He attended Berean Academy, graduating in 1961, after which he attended Moody Bible Institute and LeTourneau College. He took an active part in sports which he enjoyed greatly. He also appreciated his many friends and was conscientious and always willing to help wherever needed. He will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews as he played with them a lot.

As a result of an irregular heart beat, which he had had for several years, he went to be with the Lord very unexpectedly on May 21, 1968 at the age of 25.

We who cherish his memory are his parents; two sisters, Ruth and husband Verne Goering, Moundridge, Kan., and Eleanore, Morolica, Honduras; two brothers, Paul and wife Barbara of Dessie, Ethiopia, and Walter and wife Wynona, Whitewater, Kan.; nine nieces and five nephews, uncles and aunts, and many relatives and friends. — The Family.
