He died in the hospital in Spokane, awaiting the hour when he should have undergone an operation, but passed away just 3 hours before. He leaves to mourn his passing his widow, Mrs. Eva Ensz; 2 sons, one daughter, and one adopted daughter, 3 grandchildren, 2 brothers, 2 sisters. though they mourn, they all look forward to meet him again with Christ at the heavenly throne. Funeral services were conducted from the Menno Mennonite church Sunday afternoon, June 30, and burial was made in the cemetery of the church near by. Rev. E. R. Aeschliman and Rev. M. J. Galle spoke words of comfort.
