• Mrs. Peter W. Enns, 92, a resident here since 1908, died Monday morning at the Bethel Home for Aged where she had been a guest for over four years. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Bethel College Church with Rev. Arnold Funk of Halstead and Rev. Kenneth Shelly officiating. Mrs. Enns, the former Elizabeth Buhler, was among the pioneer immigrants to Kansas, coming to the Buhler community from South Russia in 1877. Her father, Rev. Bernard Buhler, was the founder and first pastor of the Hebron Church near Buhler, and her oldest brother Abraham founded the town of Buhler, Mr. Enns died in 1957. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. J. J. Siemens of North Newton; three sons, Bernard B. of Ft. Pierce, Fla., Rudolph and Walter of Newton; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
