She was a member of the Sweet Home Mennonite church, Sweet Home, Ore. Funeral services were held July 28 at the Tracewell Funeral home at ten o’clock, followed by a service at the Hopewell Mennonite Church, Hubbard, Ore. at 2 o’clock with Archie Kauffman and Walter McDowell officiating. Interment was made in the Hopewell Cemetery.

ANNA SCHRAGG EMMERT

Anna Schragg Emmert was born Aug. 1, 1875 in Yankton, South Dakota. She passed away July 25, 1962, within one week of her eighty-seventh birthday.

She was united in marriage to Benjamin Emmert on Nov. 20, 1895. To this union were born six sons: Jess, Floyd, Ivan and George of Sweet Home and Albert of Molalla. Her husband and son Ralph preceded her in death. She had 27 grandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren. One sister, Fannie Shenk of Sheridan, Ore. also survives.
