Funeral services were conducted in the Linden Church of God in Christ (Mennonite) April 19 at 1:30 p.m. for Dr. Harvey M. Elliott, 85, of Swalwell. He passed away April 16 in the Calgary General Hospital after having had surgery. The large attendance showed the respect held for one who unselfishly gave his best through the years of his practice from 1911 until 1952 when he retired. Both the doctor and his wife, who preceded him in death a little over a year ago, were much concerned about the moral and spiritual decline evident today in the world and in the churches. The services were conducted by Min. Dave Ratzlaff and Ben Hiebert. Interment at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, Calgary, took place Monday, April 20.
