TRAFIC [sic] ACCIDENT FATAL TO 67-YEAR-OLD BERNE, INDIANA, MAN
Berne, Ind. — Funeral services were held at the First Mennonite church on October 14 for Henry H. Ellenberge [sic Ellenberger], 67, who was fatally injured in an auto accident at a street intersection here on Oct. 10 and passed away the following day without regaining consciousness. The pastor of the church, Rev. Olin Krehbiel, was in charge of the service.
Critically injured in the same accident was Mr. Ellenberger's son, Harry, who suffered a fractured skull. He was given a good chance to recover.
The elder Mr. Ellenberger, a lifetime resident of this community, had worked at the Dunbar Furniture company for 25 years. Four daughters and two sons survive, his wife having passed away only five weeks ago.
