• Rev. Ira H. Eigsti, 69, retired minister and farmer, died Monday morning at Schowalter Villa in Hesston. Funeral services are to held at the Hesston Mennonite Church on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, with Rev. Peter Wiebe officiating. For many years Rev. Eigsti served as minister at the Willow Springs Mennonite Church, Tiskilwa, Ill., and also farmed in that community. He was a graduate of Goshen College and at one time taught in the Goshen College Academy. He and his wife, the former Esther Hartzler, moved to Florida in 1956 and to Hesston in November 1962. She died last January. Surviving are two sons, two daughters, seven grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers.
