Former Funeral Director In Puerto Rico Dies

Elkhart, Ind. — Funeral services for Dwight Y. Ehret, 75, retired farmer and funeral director, were held Nov. 10 at the Prairie Street Mennonite church here. He died Nov. 7 at the Elkhart Hospital after a six week illness.

A native of Elkhart County, Mr. Ehret lived in Puerto Rico for some years and pioneered in establishing a funeral service on the island. He was a member of the Puerto Rico Embalmers' Assn.

Surviving are his widow, the former Grace Weaver; one son, Robert, a Goshen funeral director; three grandchildren; three brothers and one sister.
