Wife of Indiana Doctor Called

Bluffton, Ohio. — Funeral services were held at the First Mennonite church here Thursday afternoon, Oct. 26, for Mrs. Charlotte T. Eby, 68, wife of Dr. Henry W. Eby, well-known retired eye, ear, nose and throat specialist of Goshen, Ind. Rev. J. N. Smucker officiated at the services here.

Mrs. Eby passed away at the Waterford Nursing Home near Goshen on Oct. 23. She had been in ill health for many years, and had been bedfast since last May. Brief services were conducted at the Culp funeral home, Goshen, on Oct. 24 by Rev. Robert Hartzler of the Eighth Street Mennonite church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three sisters, Mrs. E. J. Zook of Goshen, Mrs. W. B. Page of Pekin, Ill., and Mrs. Samuel Stalter of Northville, Mich., and two brothers. Dr. B. J. Thut of Elida, Ohio and Rev. Albert Thut of Storm Lake, Iowa.
