ACCIDENT NEAR FAIRVIEW, MICH. CLAIMS LIFE OF 13-YEAR-OLD YOUTH

Fairview, Mich. — An accident on the highway one mile west of Fairview Sunday evening, Sept. 14, claimed the life of 13-year-old Glenn Eash, son of Calvin and Katie Eash.

The youth and his neighbor friend, James Yoder, were riding on a bicycle and motor scooter, having the bicycle attached to the scooter, when they were struck by a car. The Yoder youth was also injured and was rushed to the West Branch Hospital, but at last report was making a good recovery.

Funeral services for Glenn Eash were held Sept. 17 at the Fairview Mennonite Church.
