MRS. LORETTA DYCK

Loretta Dyck was born to Henry and Maria Koehn on July 5, 1944 in Coaldale, Alta. After some years in nearby Vauxhall, she moved with her family to Vancouver at the age of 14. She accepted Christ as her Saviour at the age of six, and during high school was baptized and joined the Fraserview Mennonite Brethren Church in Vancouver. She later transferred to the Killarney Park Church.

Training as a dental technician followed a year at Bethany Bible Institute. She was a diligent worker and for more than ten years enjoyed a satisfying career. On December 1965 she married Ron Dyck. Loretta had the gift of winning friends easily; those who knew her well remember her keen sense of humour.

On March 20 the Lord permitted her to be involved in a car accident which claimed her life instantly.

She leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband, Ron; her parents, Henry and Maria Koehn; three brothers and their wives, Arthur and Helen, Walter and Tina, Ernie and Clara; four sisters and their husbands, Linda and Henry Fast, Anita and Neil Hamm, Ellie and Neil Kroeker, Dora and Henry Schulz; her husband's parents, brother and sister; eleven nieces and five nephews; and many relatives and friends.
