HELEN DYCK, 86

Mrs. Helena Dyck (nee Kroeker) passed away on Jan. 16, 1963. She was born near Winkler on Oct. 10, 1876. On July 1, 1894, she was baptized and accepted into Canada's first M. B. Church. As a result, the first public hospital in Winkler was built the following year. Her husband died in 1937.

She is survived by four children, thirteen grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Funeral servies were held in the Winkler M. B. church Jan. 9 with Rev. Herman Lenzman officiating.
