Wife of Elkhart Minister Dies After Extended Illness

Family members in Newton received word that Mrs. Delia Dyck, 37, wife of Rev. Gordon Dyck of Elkhart, Ind., died Tuesday after extended illness. She had undergone surgery about four months ago.

Mrs. Dyck was the former Unrau, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Unrau of Newton. Besides her husband, she leaves two children, Teresa, 8, and Jeffrey, 17 months. Rev. Dyck is on the staff of the Oaklawn Psychiatric Center.

Mr. and Mrs. Unrau and their daughter, Mrs. Art A. Schmidt of rural Walton, plan to attend the funeral, which will be held Friday forenoon at the Chapel of the Sermon on the Mount, Elkhart, with Rev. David Habegger of the Hively Avenue Mennonite Church officiating. Also surviving is another sister, Mrs. Elmer Suderman of St. Peter, Minn.
