HILDA DUECK

Hilda Dueck, daughter of Frank and Helen Schellenberg was born August 19, 1930 in Aberdeen, Sask. She spent her childhood in Saskatoon; in 1942 the family settled in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Onto At the age of 13 she experienced salvation and was baptized and received into the Virgil (Ont.) Mennonite Brethren Church in 1946.

On May 3, 1952 she was married to Jack Dueck. Three children were born to them: James, Barbara and Cheryl. Throughout he life, Hilda endeavored to please God and serve recent communion service she shared how she had earnestly prayed for an elderly neighbour and also a young neighbour girl. She happily related that both had accepted Christ after her husband shared the "Four Spiritual Laws" with them.

She went to be with the Lord September 7. She is survived by her loving husband, Jack, three children: James, 18, Barbara, 15, and Cheryl, 11, of St. Catharines, Ont.; her parents: Frank and Helen Schellenberg of Virgil; two sisters: Mrs. Irene Enns of St. Catharines and Virginia Schellenberg of Calgary; two brothers: Albert of St. Catharines and Ted of Virgil.
