— According to the Geary, Okla., Star of May 11, "a sudden heart attack was fatal Wednesday afternoon for J. J. Doerksen, prominent miller of the state, at his home in Geary. Mr. Doerksen was mill superintendent at the Geary Milling and Eleator [sic] compnay plant from 1918 until a few weeks ago when the condition of his health led to his resignation. Mr. Doerksen became severely ill in February, 1937, and was forced to take extensive hospital treatment at that time. His ill health continued until his death."
