Mrs. Abr. Dirks

Margaretha Dirks, nee Becker was born Aug. 12, 1886 near Buhler. Baptized June 1, 1905 by Rev. Abr. Ratzlaff, and united with the Hopevally [sic Hoffnungsau] Mennonite church near Buhler, Kans.

On the 13. of Jan. she united with Abr. Dirks in marriage and soon after moved to Beaver Co. near Turpin, Okla., where she joined the Friedensfeld Church, of which she was faithful member to her end.

To this union 5 children were born, 3 boys and 2 daughters. A son preceding her ot the great beyond.

Died Jan. 2, 2, seven-thirty A. M. bringing her age to 44 years 4 months and 20 days.

She leaves to mourn her only too early departure, her husband, 4 children, a large number of relatives and a host of fiends

Funeral services were held Jan.4, 1931. Services at the house were led by Rev. J. dirks and in the church by Rev. B. H. Jansen assisted by Rev. A. J. Dyck from Buhler, Kansas.
