• Funeral services for Abraham M. Dirks, 86, were conducted Monday morning at the Koerner Heights Mennonite Brethren Church by Larry Martens and Bruce Ewing. Mr. Dirks died Dec. 9 at Schowalter Villa in Hesston where he was a resident. He was a native of Buhler and a retired farmer. His wife, the former Agatha Pauls, died in 1966. Surviving are two daughters, Marie Loepp of Hesston and Linda Brown of Denver; one son, Edward, of Moundridge; two sisters, Marie Schrag of McPherson and Lydia Eymann of Flagstaff, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
