Lifetime Resident Dies at Pigeon, Mich.

Pigeon, Mich. — Funeral services for Samuel H. Dietzel, 87, a lifetime held April 7 at the Pigeon River Mennonite Church, with Rev. Willard Mayer and Rev. Earl Maust officiating.

Mr. Dietzel died April 3 at the Scenic Convalescent Home, Pigeon, after an extended illness. A native of Winsor [sic Windsor] Township, he was married to Elma Stein at Evart on Aug. 31, 1910.

She survives with six sons, Alfred H. of Pigeon, Loren L. of Bay Port, Arnold J. of Newton, Kan., Reuben S. of Bay Port, Carlton O. of Loveland, Colo., and Harlan A. of Fort Wayne, Ind., two daughters, Mrs. Helen Loewen of Minneapolis, Minn. and Mrs. Lenora Sempira of Uganda, East Africa; 24 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
