(MRS.) EMILY DICKMAN

Emily Dickman was born on February 11, 1900 to Mr. and Mrs. Claas Schmidt of Avon, South Dakota. In 1901 the family emigrated to Canada and settled on a farm in the Waldheim area. She received Christ as her personal Saviour in her early youth and was baptized in 1914 by Rev. Henry A. Gossen. In 1929 she joined the EMB Church of Dalmeny, Sask. and later the Waldheim MB Church.

In 1929 she was joined with Frank A. Dickman in holy matrimony. They were privileged to spend 16 happy years together. She was in good health except for the last month before her death. On Sunday, May 2 she fell peacefully asleep to be with the Lord whom she loved so dearly.

She leaves to mourn two daughters, Mrs. Irwin (Viola) Gossen of Harris, Sask., Mrs. John (LaVerna) Friesen of Waldheim., Sask.; one son, Arthur, of Saskatoon; two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law and eight grandchildren, and many friends and relatives.
