• John B. Dickey, Jr., 88, jeweler and pharmacist in Newton for nearly three-quarters of a century, died suddenly Saturday in a local store of a heart attack. His father was well known to the Mennonite immigrants who came to this locality in 1874. Besides his business here, Mr. Dickey also had extensive land interests in southwestern Kansas. He is survived by his wife and several nieces and nephews.
