ANNA WIENS DICK
Anna (Wiens) Dick, daughter of Isaac and Maria Wiens, was born Oct. 13, 1880 at Inman in McPherson County, Kan. Here she grew to womanhood. In her early youth she accepted Christ as her personal Savior. She remained a faithful member in the Mennonite church until her death.
On Sept. 8, 1901 she was united in marriage to our father, Klaas Dick of Inman. In 1903 they homesteaded in Beaver County near Turpin, Okla. where she resided until her death. Mother loved the farm and the great out-of-doors. She spent much of her time in the garden working among her flowers, which was her delight.
After our father passed away on Jan. 4, 1958, she remained in her home with her sister Maggie Wedel. Two seeks ago she entered the Beaver hospital where on Jan. 21 the Lord relieved her of all her earthly cares.
Mother will be greatly missed by all of us. She was a loving devoted mother and grandmother. Many a prayer has she offered on our behalf.
She leaves her children, N. W. and Hulda Dick of Turpin, Okla., Eva and Johnny Dirks of Turpin, Marie and Henry Becker of Forgan, Okla., Sara and Paul Ediger of Liberral, Kan., Martha and Arnold Janzen of Liberal, Annie Hiebert of Newton, Kan., Agnes and Elmer Hinz of Clinton, Okla., Lizzie and Curt Dyck of Wichita, Kan.; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, six sisters, a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
Preceding her in death were our father one son-in-law, and one grandson. — The Family.
