Mt. Lake Observer - May 15, 2002: Mary Lou Dick, 46, died at her home in rural Mt. Lake on May 7, 2002. Funeral services were held Friday, at Community Christian Bible Church in Mt. Lake with Pastor Eldin Classen officiating. Interment was at the Mt. Lake Cemetery. Mary Lou Baerg was born July 10, 1955, in Mt. Lake, to Edward and Marcella (Heindrichs) Baerg. She graduated from Mt. Lake High School and attended Jackson Vo Tech, in the secretarial business course. Mary Lou worked at Pamida in Windom from 1991 until 2002. She was a member of the Community Christian Bible Church in Mt. Lake. She enjoyed her work, tatting, baking and gardening. She is survived by her husband, Harold Dick of Mt. Lake; a daughter, Kim Dick; and a son Harold Dick, Jr., both of Mt. Lake; parents, Edward and Marcella Baerg of Bingham Lake; brothers Jim (Becky) Baerg of Mt. Lake, and Leroy (Deb) Baerg of Windom; along with a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Leonard W. Dick; paternal grandparents, David and Agatha Baerg; and maternal grandparents, Jacob and Marie Hendrichs.
