Violetta Deter, the daughter of William and Anna (Hensler) Nice, was born on Aug. 31, 1899. She was married to Daniel S. Deter on Dec. 31, 1919. She died at their home in Sarasota, Fla on March 26, 1975.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Savilla, at home; three sons, William of Sterling, Ill., Melvin of Foley, Minn., and Clayton of Morrison, Ill.; a brother, Lyle, of Morrison; and ten grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Elcy Ann, a sister, Mrs. Frances Corbin, and a grandson.

On May 28, 1916 she was baptized upon her confession of Christ as her Saviour and received as a member of the Morrison Mennonite Church to which she was faithful until the time of her death.

VIOLETTA NICE DETER

Violetta Deter, the daughter of William and Anna (Hensler) Nice, was born on Aug. 31, 1899. She was married to Daniel S. Deter on Dec. 31, 1919. She died at their home in Sarasota, Fla on March 26, 1975.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Savilla, at home; three sons, William of Sterling, Ill., Melvin of Foley, Minn., and Clayton of Morrison, Ill.; a brother, Lyle, of Morrison; and ten grandchildren.
