STERLING, ILLINOIS
Science Ridge Mennonite Church
April 4, 1975

. . .

Mrs. Dan (Violetta) Deter died unexpectedly at the Deters' winter home in Sarasota on May 27. Her three sons, William, Melvin and Clayton, flew to Sarasota to take charge of the memorial arrangements — services at the funeral home there and at their church, Morrison Mennonite. Mr. Deter underwent major surgery at the Memorial hospital in Sarasota a couple of days before his wife's death. Mr. and Mrs. Ebersole of Science Ridge, who have been there for the winter months, will be attentive to Dan during his stay in the hospital a few more weeks. The sons returned after taking care of their parents' personal belongings.
