George P. Derksen died in Clearbrook, B.C., of cancer on February 15. He was born in Russia and came to Canada in 1905, settling near Borden, Sask. He surrendered to the Lord in 1908. His marriage to Mary Unger was blessed with five children. His wife died in 1949. and he later married Justina Siemens. When cancer set in, he claimed Heb. 10:38-39 as his personal text. He is survived by his wife, four sons and their wives, one daughter, 20 grandchildren. and his mother, now 90 years old. Funeral services were held in Clearbrook and Borden, where interment took place on Feb. 21.
