— J. H. Decker and Isaac Decker of Newton have received word of the death of their sister-in-law, Mrs. Ben F. Decker at Enid, Okla., Monday evening, May 6, at the age of 84. Mrs. Decker had been helpless for about a year as result of a paralytic stroke. Funeral services will be held at the New Hopedale Mennonite church of Meno, Okla. on Friday. The husband and four children and their families survive.

MRS. SUSANA DECKER

Mrs. Susana Decker, daughter of Benjamin and Helena (Becker) Buller was born in Osterog, Poland on Nov. 7, 1872 and passed away at the General Hospital in Enid, Okla., on May 6, 1957.

On Dec. 1,1890, she was united in marriage to Benjamin Decker and together they shared the joys and sorrows of married life for over 65 years. In 1892 Mrs. Decker was baptized upon her confession of faith in the Lord Jesus and joined the Mennonite church at Moundridge, Kansas.

Mrs. Decker came to Oklahoma at the opening of the Cherokee Strip and settled on a farm near Lahoma. In 1918 the family moved to Colorado and on their return to Oklahoma in 1920 moved to Enid where they lived since. She was a member of the New Hopedale Mennonite Church at Meno and was active in ladies aid work.

In the spring of 1956 Mrs. Decker was admitted to the General Hospital where she remained for over 13 months until she passed away on Monday morning at the age of 84 years.

Survivors include her husband, Benjamin, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. L. A. (Millie) Maphet, Enid; three sons, Albert, Lincoln and Milton, all of Lahoma; one sister, Mrs. Emil Decker, Meno; 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted from the New Hopedale Mennonite Church at Meno, Okla. on Friday, May 10th, 1957, with Rev. Ben J. Nickel officiating.
