• Funeral services for Mrs. Alida Ann (Schrag) Cummings were held Sunday at the Eden Mennonite Church, rural Moundridge, with Rev. Walter Neufeld presiding. She died unexpectedly at her home in Moundridge on Jan. 20. Mrs. Cummings had served as a nurse and missionary in India for 32 years. It was there that she was married to Abe Cummings of Great Britain in 1946. Survivors include the widower; four brothers, Richard and Orlin Schrag of McPherson, and Edwin and Harold Schrag of Moundridge; four sisters, Cora Stucky, Ruth Wedel and Ethel Juhnke, all of Moundridge, and Mrs. Paul H. (Esther) Schrag of Hesston. A memorial fund has been established for the International Christian Fellowship Mission.

Deaths
Alida Schrag Cummings, Eden Church, Moundridge, Kans., died Jan. 20 at the age of sixty-six. She had been a General Conference Mennonite missionary in India in 1944-1946 and after her marriage she and her husband, Abe, served for more than thirty years in India with the International Christian Fellowship.
