• Henry Cooprider, who farmed in the Windom area in McPherson County most of his life, died Aug. 7 at Schowalter Villa, Hesston, after a long illness. He was 78. The funeral was conducted Sunday afternoon at the West Liberty Mennonite Church northwest of Inman with Rev. Edward Birkey officiating. Survivors include his widow, the former Clara Showalter; a son, James, of McPherson; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Schrock of Hutchinson; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
