• An auto accident near Pittsburg, Kan. last Saturday resulted in fatal injuries to John David Clausen, 21, a student at Pittsburg State College and son of Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Clausen of rural Newton. The family had moved to this area from Hiawatha, Kan. about 16 months ago. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Garden Mennonite Church near Moundridge with Rev. Leonard Harder, the pastor, and Rev. Charles Beaver officiating. Surviving the young man in addition to his parents are one brother, James, of Chanute; two sisters, Mrs. Dale Wicklund of Honolulu, Hawaii and Mrs. George Schrag of Moundridge; and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Soren Clausen of Bordulac, N. D. and Mrs. Salma Liudahl of Hamburg, N. D.
