Centreville, Mich. — Mary Chupp, daughter of Mose and Pearl Chupp, was instantly killed Aug. 1 in a car accident east of Nottawa. Her three companions were hospitalized with serious injuries.

Reports of the accident stated that the car, driven by Robert Mayer of Centreville, struck loose gravel and went out of control, turning completely around and landing in a tree. All four young people were pinned in the wreckage, and it was two hours before the body of Miss Chupp and the three injured could be freed from the car.

YOUNG WOMAN KILLED, THREE INJURED IN MICHIGAN CAR ACCIDENT

Centreville, Mich. — Mary Chupp, daughter of Mose and Pearl Chupp, was instantly killed Aug. 1 in a car accident east of Nottawa. Her three companions were hospitalized with serious injuries.

Reports of the accident stated that the car, driven by Robert Mayer of Centreville, struck loose gravel and went out of control, turning completely around and landing in a tree. All four young people were pinned in the wreckage, and it was two hours before the body of Miss Chupp and the three injured could be freed from the car.
