Loren and Ada Wade attended the memorial services for Maurice Ray Cender, 14, at the East Bend Mennonite Church near Fisher. Rev. Ivan Nussbaum, pastor of the church, who had charge of the services, challenged especially the youth that death is not to be feared when one is saved. Maurice's death was cause for the youth as well as older ones to consider the future. Rev. Nussbaum said: "Many are ill with the cancer of sin.” The eighth grade graduating class attended in mass. The large church auditorium was filled to capacity to pay tribute to the young boy and the family. God is interested in eternal life. Because He lives we too shall live!
