text of obituary
Huntsburg, Ohio—William Byler, six-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Byler of rural Huntsburg, was killed in an accident on his father's farm recently.
The boy and his older brother Jonas were riding on bales of hay loaded on a horse-drawn wagon driven by their father, when some bales slid onto the horses. The animals became scared and ran away, causing the two boys and their father to fall off the wagon.
Apparently William's chest was crushed by a wagon wheel which went over him. He died shortly afterward at Geauga Community Hospital. Both the father and Jonas were injured, but not seriously.
