Aged Grandmother Died At Bluffton

Bluffton, Ohio. — Mrs. John T. Burkholder of this community went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 18, 1953, at the age of 82 years and 28 days. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Howard Landes at the Ebenezer Mennonite church, where she had been a member for 55 years.

Mrs. Burkholder was the mother of Rev. Harold Burkholder, president of Grace Bible Institute. Other members of the family left to mourn her death are Quinten of Bluffton and Russell of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. C. L. Basinger of Valparaiso, Ind., Mrs. Don Voorheis, New Haven, Ind., Mrs. Emerson Slotterback of Lima, and Mrs. Albert Diller, Mrs. Gid Garmatter, Mrs. Peter Lehman, Mrs. Reese Huber, all of Bluffton. Her husband preceded her in death by two years.
