Pioneer in Northern Settlements Dies

Dinuba. — Frank Buller, a resident of this community since 1948, died April 30 at the age of 83. The funeral was held at the Dinuba M. B. Church.

He was born at Lehigh, Kan., and as a youth lived for a time in Hamilton county, Nebraska. When he was 14 the family moved by covered wagon to Munich, N. D., a trip that required four weeks.

As a young man he worked in several cities in the North and West, and in 1914 homesteaded in the Chinook, Mont. area. In 1923 he moved to California, living at Reedwood City, Modesto and Winton before moving his family to a ranch near Dinuba.

Surviving are his widow, the former Elisabeth Rempel a son and daughter; one grandson; and one brother, Abraham of San Jose.
