MRS. JOHN BULLER
Mrs. Otillie (Kliewer) Buller, daughter of David P. and Marie (Schroeder) Kliewer, was born near Hillsboro, Kansas on Oct 24, 1884.
When 12 years old she, with her parents, moved to Fairview, Okla. At the age of 18 she was baptized and became a member of the Saron Mennonite church at Orienta, Okla.
On Dec. 6, 1914, she was united in marriage to John Buller at Hillsboro. They moved to Turpin, Okla., where they lived until a year ago, when they moved back to Hillsboro and retired. After moving to Turpin they joined the Friedensfeld church.
In the last year her health failed rapidly so that she was often unable to carry on her housework. Last December she became very ill. This made it necessary for her to seek medical aid, and she entered the Salem hospital at Hillsboro in December. On Jan. 11 she submitted to a major operation to seek relief from her ailment. All that medical aid could do was provided. After much suffering her Heavenly Father took but his own, and she was released from her suffering on Jan.16 at 12:30 p. m.
She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, John Buller, and two daughters, one son, and six grandchildren: Mr. and Mrs. George Adcock and children of Alamosa, Colo., Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Koehn and children of Enid, Okla., Mr. and Mrs. Harry Buller and children, Liberal, Kansas. One brother, Frank Kliewer of Fairview, Okla. and one sister, Mrs. J. P. Bartel of Hillsboro, Kansas also survive. Five other brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
She was a loving wife and mother, and was always greatly concerned about her family’s spiritual welfare. Her unwavering, simple faith and prayer made her last days on earth beautiful and endeared her to all of us. We have the sweet memory of a devout and praying mother. — The family.
