MRS. ELIZABETH BULLER

Mrs. Elizabeth (Deckert) Buller, daughter of Benjamin W. and Helena Deckert, was born on Feb. 23, 1894, near Marion, S. D.

Mother passed from this life to be present with the Lord on Aug. 26 at the Salem Home, Freeman, S. D.

She was united in marriage to Henry H. F. Buller on Oct. 12, 1912. They made their livelihood by farming. Their marriage was ended suddenly through the accidental death of father on Nov. 5, 1935.

The family continued farming for a number of years. Mother then made her home in Marion where she had employment at the Old People’s Home and later at the creamery.

In 1958 she came to the Salem Home as a resident and also as part-time worker. This position she held until her last day. She loved her work and her association with the Home.

Mother accepted Christ as her Savior in her early youth. She was a member of the Evangelical Mennonite Brethren Church of Marion. She was a dedicated and praying mother. Her Christian testimony has been a blessing to us and her many friends.

The family surviving her are: two daughters, Mrs. Jack Adrian, Wichita, Kan., and Mrs. Paul Massey, Freeman, S. D.; two sons, Marvin Buller, Dolton, S. D. and Dennis Buller, Sioux Falls, S. D.; two daughters-in-law, two sons-in-law, 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Surviving brothers and sisters include: Mrs. Katherine Goerz, Freeman, Mrs. Elias Kaufman, Marion, Peter Deckert, Dolton, and Joel Deckert, Marion.
