DAVID E. BULLER
David Edward Buller, son of David D. and Eva Jantz Buller, was born on Feb. 3, 1883 in Marion County, Kansas, and departed from this life on Aug. 25, 1970, reaching the age of 87 years, six months, and 22 days.
Before his retirement he spent the greater part of his life farming near Cleo Springs, Okla. and Waca, [sic Waco] Texas. Since his retirement seven years ago he had lived in Hydro, Okla.
He was baptized on profession of his faith and joined the Saron Mennonite Church at Orienta, Okla. on Jan 1, 1900. In 1963 he joined the Bethel Mennonite Church in Hydro, where he attended until his death.
He was joined in holy matrimony to Sarah Kroeker on Oct. 18, 1917 at Turpin, Okla. This union was blessed with 13 children, three sons and ten daughters. Two daughters preceded him in death as infants.
He is survived by his wife Sarah of the home; his children, Mrs. Daniel (Ida) Rempel of Hutchinson, Kan., Mrs. Vernard (Evelyn) Unruh at Battlecreek [sic Battle Creek], Mich., Mrs. Joseph (Emily) Koehn of Helena, Okla., Mrs. Arthur (Clarine) Johnson of Meno, Okla., Vernon of Dinuba, Calif., Mrs. James (Alba) Logan of Blackwell, Okla., Eldo of Tremont, Ill., Mrs. Melvin (Frances) Schultz of Enid, Okla., Ralph of Hydro, Mrs. Daniel (Josie) Slagell of Hydro, and Mrs. Isaac (Ruby) Regier at Cleo Springs; 43 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Four brothers, three sisters and two grandsons preceded him in death.
