CORNELIUS BULLER
Cornelius Buller, son of David D. and Eva Jantz Buller, was born in Marion county, Kansas, near Hillsboro on Jan. 19, 1880.
In 1893 he, with his parents, came to Oklahoma and located near Fairview. Here he lived until 1904, when he went to Bea er county and filed on a claim, living there seven or eight years.
In 1914 he came back to stay, living again with his widowed mother until her death.
In 1923 he bought a farm one mile west and two north of Orienta and lived there seven years. After selling it he bought another two miles west and one-fourth north of Orienta and that was then his home for some ten years. Later he built a small house in Fairview and lived there three years. Recently he lived with D. E. Bullers for two years.
He passed away on July 23 at 3:30 P. M. at the Barnum Convalescent Home in Fairview, Okla., at the age of 66 years, 6 months and 4 days.
In 1900, in the Indian Territory here he was baptised upon confession of his faith by Rev. Christian Ramseier and accepted as a member of the Saron Mennonite church, where he has continually held his membership.
He was ailing for several years and when asked if he was ready, should the Lord suddenly call him, he always answered he was ready to go.
Surviving him are the following brothers: Ben of Fairview, Dave of Cleo Springs, Emil of Fairview and Herman of Orienta.
Also four sisters surve [sic] him: Helena (Mrs. John Ratzlaff of Los Angeles, Calif.) Agnes (Mrs. Herman Ratzlaff of Meno, Okla.); Minnie (Mrs. Jake Thiessen of Rogers, Ark.); Eva (Mrs. John Thomas of Ringwood, Okla.) and many nieces and nephews.
Burial was in the cemetery west of Orienta.
